AUTHOR'S POV
Ring.. Ring.. Ring.. Ring.. Ring.. "What the hell came out of the morning!" Pallavi said annoyingly and picked up the call.
Call:
siya: Hey night owl don't tell me you're being sleepy head today.
Pallavi: Ahh! What's your problem? Can't I even sleep in peace. Bye don't annoy me anymore your entertainment is done go and cook for your shona.
Siya: Hey don't dare to cut the call. Now get up from the bed. You can't sleep anymore today. You're already late, meet me at 10 and it's 9 already. don't tell me you forget about the plan cause this time. I'll beat the hell out of you.
Pallavi: Oh my gosh! I'm sorry sorry really sorry. I'll be there soon. Now, Bye.
and then Pallavi disconnected the call.
PALLAVI'S POV
I got up from the bed, carefully replacing my soft toy to their place. so that no one would get to know about my sleeping habit that's cuddling with teddies, cute penguin, chicks and all soft toys. Then I went to the washroom and did my business with sleepy eyes. Today, I'm going to enjoy my day with my bff Siya. I need to wear something casual and stylish.
I wore a one piece beautiful frock with pretty earrings looking simple, decent and elegant. I did a little makeup with just sunscreen, lip gloss and eyeliner trying to look natural. Now I was just left with 25 mins and I have to get out of the house somehow without bodyguards that i'm not allowed to, being a princess isn't always good.
I took my purse and essentials then key of my favorite Porsche and ordered maids to clean my room but don't touch the study table as it's messed up and has important work still incomplete after working till 4 am last night. As I went to the parking lot I received a text message from Siya that she is coming to pick me up, so it's great for me.
I just have to escape from the mansion. I saw everybody was busy with their work, then i told the maids about my going if anyone inquires as i can't disturb dadu when he is doing pooja. I escaped somehow from the mansion by the backside gate then Siya received me. We did a little chit-chat on the way and within 20 mins we reached PVR cinema to watch a movie together after 3 months.
We were so busy with our work that we weren't able to meet and talk. She was in Paris for her business and I was working on different projects going to different places for business meetings and the whole 3 months passed. Yeah I'm still busy with my work but out of 3 projects 2 are almost done so my burden is minimised and she is also back to India.
That's why we decided to meet because pretty girls always have new proposals, secrets and adventures that only her crime partner - her bff knows. So today is our day to spend together with lots of gossip and experience sharing. I am sure siya wasn't alone in Paris. there could be some boys at her back and forth to get a chance with her.
"Pallavi where are you lost. see the ticket and find the seat. I have to go to the washroom right now." Siya said and ran away without even waiting a moment. I went to find our seat but there was another boy sitting on our seat. "Excuse me, show me your ticket," I said. "why?? Who are you to order me?" boy answered. "I am the one who had booked this seat and you're sitting on it without my permission" I glared at him, then he noticed and apologised then moved to my right side seat that's for sanvi.
I got angry and shouted at him "How did you get inside when you haven't booked any seat for yourself and acquiring other's seat. leave this seat as it's for my bestfriend." and then he pointed to my left side seat where i put my handbag and said "that's my seat where you had put your handbag." I immediately picked my handbag. I was embarrassed then he sat on my left side. I was too annoyed by him. I wish to have a seat somewhere else far from this idiot.
I spent 5 minutes scrolling on my phone. Siya came and sat beside me. She brought popcorn & cold drinks for us. We enjoyed the movie and then came the interval. Siya faced my side and got shocked and smiled. I was confused ‘what's going on? I don't think there is anything wrong with my face.’ I thought. Siya said "Hi, it's nice to see you again" I saw at my back it's him. Siya is talking to that idiot. It means she knows him.
I was silent and they kept talking. " Hi sweetie, what a coincidence" he said. "yeah, btw vansh what's your plan for today?" said Siya. "Nothing special, just movie then lunch and whatever my heart says" he said. " waah, really nice. First he flirts with his buttery tongue then shows himself really grounded, good soul, heartful. good way to get attention but he looks grounded and calm. huh i can't judge him by one meeting." I thought. "Oh that's so nice why don't you join us for lunch today" siya said.
" Nice idea. i would like to join you girls but i think your angry bird bff won't like my company" he said looking at me. Siya looked at me with an unknown look in her eyes "she will surely like your company. She is not a social person, that's why you would have thought that I forgot to introduce her.” She said.
I cut her in the middle and said " I am pallavi, her best friend. I live in this city and I am a working woman, doing an internship " i said to vansh and glared at siya saying "i don't think anymore information about me is needed" she shook her head in agreement. " so you can talk politely too rather than firing fireballs from your mouth. btw your voice is so sweet" vansh said to me. I just shook my head and started watching the movie as interval is over now.
AUTHOR'S POV
Pallavi was watching movies all the time but vansh was not only watching the movie but looking at pallavi too. He was captivated by her beauty. He fell for her at first sight and now wants her. She said she is doing an internship. So he thought it would be easy for him to get her as he is doing a good job as a manager in a branch of kapoor industries and has enough wealth of family and our princess looks like a middle class girl to him ( wish he knew he is going the way to doom himself).
After the movie, Siya and Pallavi went to the washroom. There Pallavi asked her about Vansh about how she knew him and who he is. Siya told her about his job and said "He is handsome, respects girls and helpful too. I met him when my car suddenly broke down and he gave me a lift to my home. I asked him to leave at a nearby bus stop but he refused as it won't be safe for me at night time.
It was our first encounter and by the first meet only we became friends cause he is not cheap like other boys who move back and forth to get the girl. He assured my comfort and we talked a lot throughout the whole journey. I got to know how much he loves his family and the friendly nature of both of us. We became friends. Then we met next time at a cafe. He fought there for me a little. I was on a date and that man got drunk and started using nasty words which made me very uncomfortable.
I was like one word more and then I'll kick his life but before that he came and punched him and with a little argument and a few slaps and punches he went away with a bleeding nose. Then we did dinner together and spent some time then got to our homes and now this is our third encounter." Siya said, making Pallavi amazed. "So you like him right?" Pallavi said. "No we're just friends, I like someone else. I'll tell you who after sometime, "Siya said.
Pallavi thought " woah nice going but why is she making me curious i wanna know who is that lucky man". they went towards Mac D as it's nearby. They were placing orders and then they had another encounter with Vansh. Siya offered him a treat and Pallavi smiled showing that she has no problem then vansh joined them.
Siya asked him if he is vegetarian or not. He said not then we all order non-veg burgers and fries with coke. vansh flirted with pallavi and talked as a friend with siya. Pallavi with her sixth sense knew his feelings for her but started liking his company in just their first meeting.
