Pallavi’s POV
He pulled a chair and made me sit then he sat on the other. I could feel his gaze on me. “Look at me angel” he said and I slowly lifted my eyes as our eyes met. I felt like a wave struck the coast, water flew after drought, a large glacier of myself melted, wanting to flow as he wanted, and I wanted to surrender myself to him. “What do you want to eat?” he asked softly “umm.. My mood has changed so order anything that you like” I said and he got confused.
“Considering your health, vegetable salad with fried rice, is it okay?” he asked and i nodded “it’s not good you should speak in front of me rather than nodding” he said “but i’m like this only” i said in low voice “No, you’re never like that” he replied, his words clung to my heart, i felt like he knew me to the depth of my heart. “Do you want to add anything?” he asked “wine” I asked with a beautiful smile so that he won’t deny “you’re not okay, angel. Next time for sure” he said, caressing my cheeks.
He placed the order and started the conversation “sorry for my behaviour tod…” I cut him off “SHHHH… you didn’t commit any mistake. I’m not hurt but I am owing you”.
“You’re owing nothing, it’s my responsibility” he said and continued “i want to ask you something” he said and silence spread all over the place but he broke it after a while “why were you avoiding me?” he said and looked right into my eyes to find the answer “I… I was” i stuttered thinking of any lie.
“Truth” he cut me with his authoritative tone making me hell scared but his gaze was something I couldn't defy. “I was avoiding you because it’s getting too fast. We met for the first time at the party and just the next day we were too close. If we’re just friends then this closeness isn’t right” I confessed in a low voice and his gaze softened “don’t you like my touch or you feel uncomfortable around me?” He asked me with a concern-filled voice and I shook my head in ‘no’ “words Pallavi tell me how you feel” he said in a demanding tone “I like it” i mumbled and Raghav heard it.
A smile found its way on Raghav’s face “I never felt good with physical touch but your touch changes me, I am a bold and strong lady but I lose my control by your gaze only, i get fluttered. I don’t know what it is? I’m afraid where this will lead us” I said in a low voice. OH God! My mood swings are going to kill me. Raghav came to my side and kneeled holding my hand. He looked right into my eyes with a smile “so you’re afraid to fall in love with me?” he said and i stayed quiet.
“Look, don't hold back yourself. You’re allowed to love and as you said IF we’re friends so let me tell you we’re more than friends, we’re beyond and this word doesn't bind us angel. I’m happy that you are comfortable around me take it easy and don’t ever try to avoid me again in this life” he continued and i smiled “let’s be good friends, all this is giving me a date vibe” I said and Raghav stood from the floor “as you say, angel” he said and sat on his seat.
We both were happy together, we enjoyed our dinner and now we’re playing truth and dare. “Your turn tell me T or D?” I said in excitement and he chose the truth “Ok so tell me how many girlfriends you had and how many dates?” I asked with a sweet smile on my face but this was hard for me “I had no girlfriend ever no dates. It’s my first and you’re my first and last too” he said teasingly and my smile widened “can we dance?” he asked and I started caressing my tummy “i can’t” I said with a pout. It was hurting. Raghav nodded with a smile. “I think you need rest, let's go. I’ll drop you home” he said and I smiled at his understanding.
I was on the way when I received a call from siddhi “hello” I said “Pallavi, we were tracking Mr and Mrs Rathore and we’ve found a big amount of money transferred to an unknown account with no reason and it’s not recorded in any further data. It seems like they’re hiding something” she said “ohhh that’s nice. They have everything still cheating the company, spy them” I said, my voice changing from dramatic to stern. I looked at Raghav and his eyes were on the road but he knew i’m watching him, so he moved to face me with assurance in his eyes. I could feel his support and he undid me, right there.
After a while, I received a conference call from Siya and Vansh “hey pretty what’s up?” Vansh said “i’m busy” i said in stern and low voice to not get Raghav’s attention. “What’s your plan for tomorrow?” Vansh asked “I have work and yeah I have to go to the Salon” I said “ohh nice but why salon” Siya asked. “Siya i think you’ve got some time to spend with us because your boyfriend has left for some work. I’m going to kill you. You’re not going to paris again and i’m not going to be your model ever” i said in fury.
“Calm down baby, we’ll talk about this later. Tell us why salon? are you going on a date” she said teasingly and Vansh groaned “I have so many functions to attend next week. On tuesday there’s a pooja then from thursday Ekansh’s wedding functions. So, I have decided to highlight my hairs and I need to get laser done, then more beauty things you know. I have been so busy that from the time i’m here i visited the salon only twice just for the haircut” i said and Siya chuckled “okay, my sweet friend highlight your hair in brown and let’s hang out tomorrow evening at my home” she said “okay” I and Vansh said in amusement. I disconnected the call.
“You’re planning to have fun tomorrow and I'll be engrossed in work” Raghav said in disappointment and i let out a soft chuckle “don’t worry, i’ll be working with you by monday. We’re together” I said with a smile and i could sense his contentment. We reached the mansion “Raghav, thankyou so much for today” i said in a honey voice trying to control myself from hugging him. I kept bouquet at a table with chocolates then changed and sleep took over me in peace.
Author’s POV
Raghav was really happy with the way Pallavi is comfortable with him and she also loves him, unknowingly. They both slept in peace and then the next day passed working for Raghav while fun for Pallavi, in the evening Pallavi took one of her average car and drove to Vansh’s location. She called Vansh to come outside his home. Vansh was amazed to see Pallavi driving a car. He sat inside the car “i’m here to pick you Siya told me to do” Pallavi said with a straight face “is this your car? It’s really expensive” Vansh asked “it’s Siya’s car” she lied. ‘I don’t have any cheap car, it's the only one I found the average among all expensive collections of cars’ she thought in regret.
She drove to Siya’s house, her house was surrounded by a garden. It was beautiful and dreamy for Vansh while it was just an average house for Siya and Pallavi. There were guards, so Pallavi moved the window glass down and looked at guards. Guards panicked looking at the princess; they all bowed their heads in respect and opened the gate.
Pallavi parked the car and got out of the car. Vansh was amazed, he observed all the guards bowing to someone for the first time and Pallavi ignored them royally. Pallavi entered the house with Vansh. Siya jumped and hugged them. There were some people in the hall who stood from their place as they saw Siya’s guest.
“I think you’re having a business meeting at your home” Pallavi said “yeah, just give me a few minutes” Siya said and Pallavi observed the tension of the room, coming to her business aura. She signalled Siya to call a maid and let Vansh go to the guest room. Siya understood and did the same. Pallavi entered the hall. Her presence was irresistible and dominating.
All the investors were just millionaires and Pallavi was the princess, so they all bowed and Pallavi took a seat. “I apologise for interfering in your meeting but I'm a 25% shareholder and board member of Siya’s company. So, I can be here. Can I know what’s going on?” Pallavi said in a stern voice. They told her everything and Pallavi helped them to sort out the problem with a win-win deal. Then they left. Siya, Pallavi and Vansh gathered and did a lot of chit-chat.
